ellipsis… literature and art is an annually published literary journal run by students since 1965 (impressive!), who are currently looking for submissions from “well-known writers, up-and-coming writers, and never-before-published writers” for their next issue.
Poetry, fiction, non-fiction, visual art – whatever you’re into they might just have a spot among their pages for you. They say that “each issue is unique” which is great for emerging writers because it means we don’t need to read up on their house style – just submit!
If you did want to check out some of their past issues though, you can find them here. It’s worth a look, and from the covers alone ellipsis looks like a pretty great place to be published.
They pay their contributors $10 a poem and $50 for prose (loving them more and more) and submissions can be made online via their website until November 1 2013.
