Scribe Nonfiction Prize

The deadline for Scribe’s Nonfiction Prize for Young Writers is looming on the horizon. But there are still a couple of weeks to get your creative nonfiction stories, memoirs, biographies, essays, and journalism articles in to win a few really great prizes (and obvious bragging rights).

If you’re under 30 (No? Oops) and have a 5000-10,000 word nonfiction piece that you’re pretty proud of, then this could be the prize for you.

Winnings include $1500 cash, a meeting with a Scribe editor/publisher, 10 hours editorial workshopping, and a 12 month Scribe subscription. Interested?

Entry is free. Just throwin’ that out there.

You can find more info about independent publishing house Scribe here. They go way back.

So go on, read through all the terms and conditions, double-check your document, and send off that entry form before October 11 2013.
