I was browsing writing advice for story beginnings and hooks on Writer’s Digest and saw their big button advertising the 101 Best Websites for Writers.
It’s only recently that I’ve been subscribing and following as many writing websites as I can, so seeing this little compilation of some of the best in the business got me kind of excited.
And it’s free. I love free stuff. All you do is go to the Writer’s Digest site, put in your email address, and they send you a flashy PDF file full of website links to authors, editors, communities, jobs and genre pages. It’s all really interesting and useful info, and they cover so many topics (I’m favouriting and following everything).
You also get signed up to the Writer’s Digest newsletter at the same time, which is nice too.
If you’re looking for more blogs, websites and forums to connect with other writers, learn more about the industry and hone your craft, then check out 101 Best Websites for Writers. It’s free, helpful and the PDF is all bright and adorable – you can’t go wrong.
